GO:0061885 - positive regulation of mini excitatory postsynaptic potential

Biological Process

Any process that increases the frequency, rate or extent of mini excitatory postsynaptic potential. Mini excitatory postsynaptic potential is a process that leads to a temporary increase in postsynaptic potential due to the flow of positively charged ions into the postsynaptic cell, induced by the spontaneous release of a single vesicle of an excitatory neurotransmitter into the synapse.

Description:

The Gene Breakdown shows per species counts of distinct genes that have been annotated with this GO term over its history.

Legend Descriptions:

Direct vs Not: Direct measures look only at those genes which have been directly annotated with this term. Non-direct series (inferred) also counts genes which have been annotated with a child of this term.

Controls:

<Click> a legend item to toggle that series.

<Ctrl/Command> + <Click> a legend item to show only that series.

<Click> on the Subset button on top of the legend to toggle between important subsets of series. Namely: Direct, Indirect, and All.

Description:

Annotation Evidence Counts shows per evidence counts of direct annotations made with this term.

Legend Descriptions:

See http://www.geneontology.org/page/guide-go-evidence-codes for more details.

Curated: Counts of annotation which were assigned by a curator.

Automatic: Counts of annotation which were assigned by automated methods, not by curators (IEA).

Shows metrics on the history of the selected GO term:

Legend Descriptions:

Existence: Displays green when the term existed and red when it did not.

Structure Change: Displays as green when the ancestry chart changed from the previous GO edition.

Name Change: Displays as green when the name of this term changed.

Controls:
